Prayer Team The Prayer Team meets every Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary. All are welcome to participate in this weekly prayer and music service. Harborside Devotional A devotional and worship time is led by differing groups and participants on the first Sunday of every month at 2:30 p.m. at Harborside Nursing Home. Parish Nurse Ministry
A ministry of health care professionals designed to assist the congregation in the care of their spiritual and physical health. Blood Pressure screenings are given the first Sunday of the month before and after Sunday School. An annual Health Fair is provided to the community in the Fall. Thanks to Sharon Houston for being our Health Care Nurse. Mothers of Special Children The support group meets every Second Thursday at 7:00 p.m. for care givers for children with special needs. Special Missions We encourage our congregation to be in ministry where ever God calls them. Woodspoint Nursing Home, United Christian Volunteers and Ida Spence Mission at City Heights, Covington are but a few of the ministries where our congregation is working. Interfaith Hospitality Network IHN is an outreach ministry to homeless families. Families with young children are housed in churches overnight until they are able to obtain housing on their own. Immanuel United Methodist provides the housing for one week every nine weeks. Erlanger United Methodist assists Immanuel on Thursday evening by providing food, hosting the families and arranging for volunteers to spend the night. Special Needs If you or a family member has special needs, you are encouraged to contact the church office so that an appointment can be arranged with our Special Needs coordinators to assist you in worship, Sunday School, small group or other activities at our church.
